Help on Gear Change

I plan on upgrading to the 3:55 gears. What is the difference in the Super 44 differential. I have a 94/ model year. Will the Super 44 gearset install in the 94 housing/pumkin. I also plan on installing the aftermarket half-shafts, does this complicate any issues. Relative to the change, can a GenII complete pumkin fit directly into the 94 housing.

It seems that the general opinion likes the RedLine diff fluid. Is this the best choice. Is the limited-slip additive still needed and is the OEM product the best?
