Hidden Blue Paint Trivia

<FONT face="Comic Sans MS">Found some blue paint while installing my Y2K oil pan. Does anyone know the reason for the blue paint on the con rods?</FONT f>

Marks like that are usually there to prove that a bolt or part was properly torqued. The older Mopars had a variety of marks underneath.
