Is there any interest in a Houston to Austin Caravan for the TX Round-up this weekend? If so, when and where would be a good meeting place? I was thinking that if we pulled out of Houston by high noon, we'd be into Austin before afternoon traffic? Any other thoughts/suggestions?

Sounds like fun. Just hope the Sunday storm forecast does not last for the group. Have to work the weekend.

Rob and I (and the ladies) are meeting at 1pm at 1488/290 (I hope to be on time, I have to work in the morning). Y'all are welcome to join, it should work good with your noon leave time from the south side. You have my cel Alan if you need to call... :)

Thanks Eric, We're a little concerned with the forecast, looks like rain in Austin Sat., then Sun. in Houston? I spoke with Wayne today and we plan to make a go/no go call around 10:00 a.m. I'll call in the morning :)

Hope you Houston guys can weather the weather, regardless! The North Texas group is meeting up a number of places between here and Austin and will be rolling in around 4. The Round Up is always fun and I wouldn't miss it even if it means hours of engine clean up when we get back.

Alan, Rob and I decided not to go, so we won't be at the meeting spot at 1pm. For those going, be careful!

I've asked a couple times when and where to meet with no response. I guess I'll just caravan by myself and see ya'll there. Art

The Austin forecast shows rain late Saturday night and Sunday morning only.
That was the morning forecast today.
