How is the ACR Extreme rear wing installed on the decklid of the new ACRE?

Is it just four bolts? Glued on?

Just curious if the wing can be easily removed and re-installed?

It does looks like its just the four bolts. And probably a seal adhesive to waterproof. I am curious how it can hold a tonne of down force with no chasis reinforcement.

Hatch is CF and the newest design is reinforced where the wings mount. There are also support pads that come on the ACR.

Thanks. No adhesive on the ACRE Wing mount? Also I ask this respectfully, but what are your thoughts of a owner of an ACRE running a TA1 rear wing (installing it after he takes delivery) for street driving? Assuming the front splitter is not installed, do the front wickers really provide enough downforce to make the car sketchy/loose if a TA1 wing was installed in place of the ACR-E? Of course for ******** track use you'd want the splitter and wing installed. Your thoughts? thank you for your time.

The dive planes do not provide down force they help relieve pressure build up that creates lift, as does the Extreme hood really. The ACR suspension is much to stiff without the down force the wing has so this will further make the car loose at speed with the TA spoiler so I do not recommend it. With different choices in shocks and springs, you could make that work with the ACR splitter and a TA spoiler, but would seen like a real waste to by an Extreme and toss all the good stuff IMHO.

There is just a foam water seal under the wing stations no adhesive per se.

Would we have to physically swap out the suspension components, or just make adjustments to the ACR suspension to achieve this? I'd like to just run it in street trim without the front splitter attached and just a rear TA1 wing.

Damn, it's looking more and more like I will need to order the TA1 Viper and just add the rear diffuser, front dive planes...but I seriously doubt I can get the vented louvers on the front fenders unless I order the ACRE package.

Perhaps just owning a different rear hatch/trunklid with the different spoiler is the right answer, because I'd still want to use the ACRE for the Fontana track days.

Seriously can you imagine this car with the TA1 wing instead of the giant wing? I think it would look amazing and for some reason I am just stubbornly set on it, as long as we can make the car stable and safe:

All that effort just to not have the ACR-E wing when riding on the street? What's the big deal?
It's an ACR....the baddest car in the track world right now. Celebrate the fact and enjoy it.
People flip out when the see it....it's a rolling circus.
