I left Montreal at 3AM on Thursday. Arrived in Toronto at 7AM and things started going very very slowly. Everything is in construction between Toronto and Chicago. The I80 is bad all over ...

The trafic was hell. I needed 24 hours to get into Omaha including all the construction and the heavy rain. I arrived in Omaha at 3AM on Friday. Then the I-80 became wide open ... I never drove below 100mph. From 3AM to 1PM I was riding between 100mph and 130mph.

First I had a guy from Wyoming with a Jetta that was driving like creazy then a Saab from San Francisco. I did Omaha - Salt Lake City in less then 10 hours including 4 fuel stops ...

The Grand America is a beautifull palace really well located in the city !!!

Wow. what a trip...I did the first 100 miles in my car (dd) to the airport today morning at 5 am.
Than 45 min in the air from Munich to Duesseldorf (500 miles), waiting for my flight to Chicago (4500 miles?) now. 20h from door to door.

Off to SLC on Monday till Wednesday in the Viper! 1500 miles.

Is a total of 6600 miles...

Wow , thats some serious driving . Did you get to split the driving duties ?
My longest work shift was 56 hours . Wednesday morning until Friday night . From Southern Alberta to Whitehorse . Almost 5000 kms round trip. You have to go through some serious walls to stay awake lol .
Did you see very many cops ?

I'm starting my drive at 6am sharp, and hopefully I'll catch up with everyone in KC on Monday.

We made 800 miles the first day to Paxton, Nebraska.
Today, only 300 miles, but we were in ESTES PARK and right now in Loveland for the night.
Tomorrow another 500-600 miles to SLC.

NO ticket so far. Only a minor problem with the emergency brake on one of the 4 Viper!

Roads....almost no cops and we behaved well, when there was no cop in sight ... ;-)))

For the total drive to and from SLC we did 4085 miles.
From Chicago area to SLC and back via Yellowstone, Big Horn Mountain, Little Big Horn, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Badlands, Blair, ... made it safe home to Munich.

Total trip? 2 weeks and 2 days! Miles? Probably +15000 including 2 flights across the pond.
