I don't think that Pacifica was selling that well and they already have its replacement (Mercedes R class). Maybe they are thinking that cheaper pacifica steals sales from Merc... I do not worry about 2008 Viper - it's going to be the same body with engine balanced to deliver 600Hp - not a big deal with this displacement

The Merc isn't a replacement just a rebadge to attract a different buyer.

Car makes come and go but the icons stay. Example is the Viper, Vette,, etc...

Too much is involved with Viper, racing and consumer loyalty.

I don't see too many peolpe running around with Pacifica hats, t-shirts, posters, etc...Especially have you seen a Pacifica stop a crowd like a Viper?

We just went through this a few days back. National officers were contacted and they spoke with the highest level of folks at SRT and confirmed that the Viper is indeed on track to continue production, no reason to speculate otherwise, and frankly they don't need this type of rumor circulating. So I will reference the other thread below and close this one as well.
