If you had you waterpump replaced what is your build date and mileage?

I am trying to narrow down the time frame. Mine was built 11-00
and went at 8k...


And why is there not a recall on these? I am little peeved by this, I asked my dealership to replace this last spring
when the issue came up and was denied. No problem with it as of yet; they said. Now, this summer
(the few days we get here in Buffalo, NY) and i can't drive the darn thing. My vipertech is on vacation. And i am just S.O.L
oh, well at least it is cover by warranty...

Built 11-00 and went bad at 2500 miles. Took the engine with it, sad to say... but that gave me an excuse to have Doug Levin reincarnate it as something better

5-01 ....I think 3-4000 miles .... way too early for a water pump to go out.

that is what i don't understand.. why risk losing motors?
Over a relatively cheap part...

because if i hadn't heard all about this issue here on the board I may have keep driving it,
and "took the engine with it, sad to say..."
