It's that time of year again. If anyone will be in LeMans this year it would be nice to get together at least to say hello. I met someone by chance last year in front of my hotel on the Mulsanne straight. Which has two chicanes now. It keeps the really fast cars from plowing their way through the village of Mulsanne when their brakes fail. 200 mph is pretty quick. Hopefully we will see a Viper Stryker team in the race next year or 2013. ORECA?

I thought I was the only Viper there till my new friend from the US walked by the hotel as I was slurping my beer. "Hey! You own the Viper over there?" Yeah! I said, Where did you park yours?
That was one of those Viper things that happen every year. It's really amazing.
Yes Markus I know you will be there! Emillie and Laurence are waiting with high expectations.
Should we meet at the Hotel Auberge Mulsanne for dinner on Saturday everyone?
Where did you UKVCA guys hide last year???

Thanks for the PM Graphite :)

So are you guys staying at the Hotel Arbor over the whole weekend or are you just eating there on the Saturday night?

As Neil UK said, last year I stayed at Houx Annex, but I do not seem to be able to get tickets for this site now as the ACO likes to sell the tickets 'on block' to tour operators who then crank up the prices, so for one guy in a viper with ferries, fuel, camping and race tickets, it gets very expensive!

I did see a couple of other Vipers last year, one at St saturnin, on the Friday
Accueil - Saint Saturnin Classic British Welcome
and the other one at the village of Mulsanne where I spoke with the french owner :)

There was a loose conversation earlier this year between myself, Pete (Zed Sump) and Madmax Ade about going to Le mans in the Vipers but we are all on a very very tight budget :(

We may give this one a miss and go to the Classic next year instead, as I'm sure you know some of the crowd at Le mans dont have much respect for the nice cars, spraying interiors with water pistols and stopping you every few meters trying to get you to perform burnouts :(

2 weeks before Le Mans 2011 we are down in MC for the F1 race - so, I think a

2009 Côte de Provence Domaine de OTT

    fits well!!!
