And lost my mind trying to search the forums. I'm not so good with the boolean stuff, but I'm on page 14 of "lost + key" and I'm ready to pull the remaining hairs from my head.

Anyone know the process of replacing a key on an SRT.

My local Dodge dealer went under so the closest option is a bit away. Thanks.

I think that you can just get another cut, thats assuming you have a spare. I don't think these keys have a chip in them.

Step 1 Go to your Dodge dealer.
Step 2 Take your registration or title with you.
Step 3 You "might" get a key right away or they might have to order one for you which might take a week or so.

Here is what I did for my 2005 Copperhead.

1- Went on ebay and bought a new Viper Key. eBay Motors: Dodge VIPER OEM Key Blank New L@@k Mopar! (item 390039886328 end time Apr-24-09 11:37:56 PDT)

2- Went on ebay and bought a new Viper Key Fob eBay Motors: NEW*'05 2005 DODGE VIPER SRT-10 KEY ENTRY ALARM REMOTE (item 160314421904 end time Feb-07-09 14:53:39 PST)

3- Got the Key cut at home depot.

4- Went home and programmed the fob. Instructions attached.

5- Smiled and said. Wow that was easy and all under $50.00.

Good Luck...its easy.
