It's my understanding that the 5 point belts in our ACR's are dated and only good for 2 years of official use. Well, since I have heard nothing, I was just thinking that I sure don't want to wind up with new belts installed this Fall that are already 1 year old. Well, I guess technically Dodge could just install belts dated with the original date code and it would be legit. That would stink.

Since I've read nothing here recently on these, did you guys already manage to get yours replaced or something?

I've repeatedly asked my dealership and they claim that there is no official recall on the ACR harnesses. I've even brought in the press release and they've denied it is a recall. I'd sure love to know how to get them replaced....

Cheers.

Nothing from my end.
When I called the toll free recall # the women on the other end
said: "Is that Viper an automatic or a 4 door? and there is no recall for your Vin # or any Viper."
CLUELESS!
Chuck Tator also had the same response = NONE.

Kevin:

You almost killed me! I nearly chocked on my breakfast after reading your witty post.

Any volunteers?
