Need help removing wiper arm.

Before I start pulling and bending and causing all kinds of damage to remove the wiper arm. Maybe someone can Help me. Thanks

mine has a cover that snaps up and the bolt is under the cover. Pull cover up, remove bolt, mark center line of arm on motor post with a sharpie , remove arm.
