Greetings,
I am new to the forum and have to make my final decision on wheels for my 03 SRT Converitible (silver)
I am weighing my decision between the following:
HRE 542R Series 18x10 and 19x13 (polished)
Dodge Stock Production (5 Spoke)
and
Dodge Sidewinders
If anyone can give me some recommedations, I would greatly appreciate them!
Thanks in advance!

I have the same color and I went with sidewinders for 2 reasons: 1. They are much cheaper than the HREs and 2. I want to paint the centers black (like last years VCA car) and they have a natural break where you can stop the paint. Good luck.

Hi DP Viper,
You don't have any images of your SRT with the Sidewinders by chance do you?
Thanks for responding.

Sidewinders or the new H wheels, but I also still dig the stock 10 spoke.

I'm leaning real heavy to the HRE's They are super sharp! Money is not an issue. I just want to make the right choice!
Thanks,
Scott

i havent seen scott for probably 20 years. we were "car guys" back in the day, probably wearing our "members only" jackets and listening to lover-boy on the radio.

nice stripes.

I really like the 5 spokes on silver.

If you do the HRE's, plus one all the way around looks so much better.

Thanks,
I'm assuming when you say "plus one all the way around" you are referring to the the 19" and 20" wheels size. Is that correct?

That's right. What are you having Prefix do to the car? that snake skin interior they do is pretty cool.

Prefix is doing a complete leather interior package, custom striping, powder coating calipers, suspension and a few other odds and ends. I met Kim Zeile (owner of Prefix)and Ron Batt (Sales and Program Manager) a few weeks ago and they have put together a unique package that reflects my personality. I'm NOT going for that "**** LOOK" but more for a low key look with lots of attitude! I had considered purchasing one of the 06 Coupes but decided to invest a bit into my 03 and see what comes in 2010. Not certain what the next body style will be, but I will ride it out!

That is BY FAR THE best looking silver and stripe srt-10 i have ever seen. I actually sent that exact photo to a friend of mine, telling him how cool it was, just yesterday. Him and a couple of guys from work concured. I hope to god, you do not ruin just how classy that car looks right now. What color are those stripes? And who put them on your car?

Coolness, because I truly believe that is the best looking set up i have seen on an srt-10 convertible period, regardless of color. (I'd swap those wheels with the First Edition 5 spokes though, I have not been a fan of the 03 srt wheels since they came out.)

Cant wait to see the car when it comes back from prefix.

Jon
