And so much comes down to marketing, doesn't it? Anyway, FYI:

Chrysler Edges Into Fast-lube Biz

Answers:
1) Yes, I'm sure the PZ Synthetic is fine.
2) The 5W40 grade is fine.
3) Shell = Pennzoil = Quaker State
4) SOPUS = Shell Oil Products US
5) Shell Rotella 15W40 and 5W40 are good diesel oils; used both
6) Shell do F1, NASCAR, etc, so they are throwing some dollars at marketing

Interesting note at the bottom that Shell has been providing all fills for Chrysler Vehicles for the last two years................don't think that is correct with Mobil 1 going into the Viper?!

2009 Challenger SRT8 6spd came with Mobil1, states it right on the cap. Recommended in the manual.

Well, I agree with "Mr. P." and "fqberful" about the final Vipers having Mobil 1 as per manual and oil cap. I would add, however, that one cannot be sure of the product in the motor without extensive oil analyses on said oil...which would be a starting point.

Once I get off my lazy Asp and our Indiana monsoon season ends, I'll put a few more miles on the 2010 ACR vert, change the oil, and send in some ****** Penzol to see if we can "take a guess" on the late production factory fill.
