I just go done draining the radiator on my 1994 rt/10. I filled it back up with about 60 antifreeze/ 40 water. I burped the rad with the upper hose by squeezing it. Did this several times when the car cooled down. I also installed a flush kit using the upper heater hose. I installed one of those black T with a cap on top.

My car use to run between 185-195 degrees..well now it seems to run at 200 degrees...plus hotter.

Should I use more water than antifreeze? or what's wrong here? Any help would be appreciated.

I think that your problem is due to the 60% antifreeze.

Antifreeze doesn't cool as well than water,or if you prefer the heat transfer rate is lower with antifreeze.

Factory fill is almost always 50%.

You can either drain your cooling system and start all over again or calculate how much you need to remove to get to the 50% with adding 100% water.

You should also add a bottle of Water Wetter,it is usually good for 5 to 10 degree.
