Hi Ulysses,
The paint code is "Unobtainium".
We looked into it last year when looking at powdercoating color options for the Supercharger intake. The company that makes it went out of business and sold the balance of the powder to the company that coats the Viper intake manifolds (the company that coats the valve covers has to buy from them). There was also a problem with color matching / fading. That's why the new SRT motors have different colors and finishes on their intakes and valve covers.
There are reds available that are a close match though.

Regards,
Sean

I tried several powder coating shops around Atlanta and they told me that the VC's cold not be powder coated because they were magnesium.

Sean,
Do you know of a shop that will take the job?

Thanks

Apex motorsports knows a place that will powder coat them, but it can take as many as 6 times to get it to come out right because of the magnesium. Give Bill a call.

I had mine done here locally in H-town. No problems - right the first time.
