Hello,I'm a lucky owner of a SRT 10 (2006),from Italy.
I like tuning my car and i started with a Belanger exhaust system.
Next I want change stock intake & air filters with a VERY Performance new.
I saw K&N,Greenfilter,etc.
Before order one or another i prefer ask your opinion.
This is the best way for no mistake ( I hope!).
Wait your reply.
Thanks from Italy!
luigi:) :) :)

I have the K&N ... they work, but you have to be sure the plastic breather holes are drilled out to the correct size (mine were not) ... if I had it to do over again, I would just put the Green filters on the stock intake, and not be bothered with the rest

Installing green filters on the K & N Filtercharger kit will net you the most hp and torque gains.

541.18 EHP & 588.94 ETQ @ 5400 RPMs / 460.0 RWHP & 500.6 RWTQ @ 5400 RPM
INCREASE OF = 17.53 EHP & 16.94 ETQ @ 5400 RPMs / 14.90 RWHP @ 14.40 RWTQ @ 5400 RPM

I mean Vipermann proposal is good "just put the Green filters on the stock intake, and not be bothered with the rest".

If compare it with green filter+K&N filtercharger wich is the difference in hp....and money point of view?
Thanks

What's the cost of that set up?

What gains can be expected by just putting the greens on the stock set up?

After a lot of discussion and special K&N,Green,Red etc filter.... i sent a email to BMC Air Filter about them production for my SRT 10.

Immediatly I received to my door a couple of racing filter to test ( no money to pay!!!);)

Very good company and very good feed-back.:2tu:

Maybe because I'm a owner of a Viper SRT 10 and in Italy this car is UNIQUE!

Thank you again to BMC Technical Team.
