Call me crazy but I'm really liking that blue vette.

Of course the Viper looks nice too.

10 year technology, 350 lb. difference and 60+rwhp all favor the Z06. It is really not even close...:dunno:

But the Viper turns people into the exorcists at all stop lights... :D

Thanks to all for the positive comments!

Mmmmm... powder coated manifolds..... mmmmmm.

I am in the process of buying someone's spare manifold right now and plan to do the same thing and turn it into the base for a work table. Purdy! :D

I usually do take that 10 y/o technology for a spin about once per week. The other one just gets me front point A to point B a lot faster... :D;)

Beautiful GTS (I'm partial to red) and I like the Vette as well (being an ex-Vette guy).

Particular kudos on the engine! Assume you redid the intake and valve covers, as the red is not matte but more of a gloss. Was that powder coating or some other type of hi-temp finish?

And, I agree, the paint on your GTS is outstanding...is that factory, re-painted or did you possible do one wetsanding to get it that smooth??????

Overall, really nice looking pair!

Well, I really can't take any credit for all the work done on the car - 99% of it has been done by the previous owner, who can only be described as ...MONK. I have yet to meet a more anal, highly attentive to detail individual in my life. Fortunately for me, he is the previous owner of my GTS. Yes, all painted in high temp finish.

He was so over the top anal that he had the doors taken off, sanded, wet sanded to a smooth finish and repainted. The front bumper was painted pretty much once a year. All panels removed and "shimied" to adjust any gappings from factory...I could not be happier with the car...(so someone remind me, why is it that I want to sell it again?....oh yeah, those freakin' new acr's! :smirk: )

Wow both look fantastic. What camera did you use to take those pics ??? :dunno:

:usa:
Pics were taken by a 50D...and, yet again, I can't take credit for the pics...a friend of mine took them as he wanted to break in his new camera...:headbang:
