PIKES PEAK SUMMIT: Anyone drive a bone stock Gen2 Viper up there w/o issues?

Wondering how well cooling, mixture, timing, idle, etc. are maintained.

I did Pikes Peak over 10 years ago with no issues, it ran a little warm at lower altitudes but the gravel part of the drive was slower and cooler. I did come down too fast and had the park ranger make me wait in a parking lot for my brakes to cool down. I believe he said that they were over 400 degrees.

drove up 3 years, no issues except for looking down as I was driving.

In which class did you run? I just had a quick look through the rules and I don't see where a stock Viper would fit.
