Question on GEN1 factory hardtop

Does the sports bar have to be removed for installation of the factory hardtop on GEN1 cars?

Yes it sure does. Different design than the Gen II, the body fo the hard top is bolted to the sportsbar in the back, which requires the pad to be removed.

its a pain but once you get use to it its easy.And heck the hard top is on and off so often unless it is a show kinda day i don't even put the sports bar back on most times she is *******.
