Hey Guys & Gals,
Just wanted to pass on to anyone looking for a new remote key fob. Found a vendor on Ebay that sells the OEM fob for $15-$20 shipped depending on model year. It includes programming instructions.
I recently got a quote from the local Dodge dealer- $82 for the fob & $50 to program.
The Ebay fob is identical & I just programmed it a few moments ago- Works Great!
The only catch is you have to have the original programmed fob in order to program the new one yourself. Otherwise you'll need the "special tool" or will need to take it to the dealer for programming.
Still, saved a buttload of $$$ on the item.
