I have a 98 Viper GTS with stock calipers. I am replacing the brake pads on the rear wheels. I followed the procedure to use needle nose pliers to rotate the piston clockwise to seat the piston lower for the new pads. This worked on the drivers side caliper, but it is not working on the passenger side caliper. I am able to turn the piston just fine, but it is not lowering into the caliper. Any suggestions?

Push hard in as you turn the caliper. Maybe tap on it with a hammer, but just tap on it. How far out of the caliper did the piston move?

But, not the Viper. It's pistons are turned in CW, at least on Gen 2. (I just recently read that some newer Fords do CCW ? Must have been designed in Australia? )
