'97 Viper GTS, 25'ooo miles

A few weeks ago my Nightmare started with running out of Fuel 30ft away from our own Gas Station... :2tu:

Fuel Level "should" be arround 1/5, but it was'nt.

Later the Instrument dropped whe i was accelerating or drove uphill and raised whe i slowed down or drove downhill... but the &%ç%/% Needle was just moving 1/16".

Now i changed the Fuel Level Sensor... the Problem is nearly the same.
But now the Needle is moving between the actual Fuel Level and Full.

Any Idea?

I have noticed huge diferences in guage readings depending on if the car is going uphill or downhill if that helps. it jumps around a lot.
