Saturday June 6, 2009 – Vino In The Valley
Due to popular demand, we are once again planning to enjoy a fine Italian dinner just east of Ellsworth, WI. This restaurant is located in a beautiful valley on private land and the atmosphere is just fantastic. Is your spouse [significant other] getting tired of long cruises, cold coffee, and talking horsepower all the time? Well then why not treat her right and show her your "other" side. We will be eating outside so bring a light jacket as the evenings tend to get cool in the valley. Meet between 4:00 & 4:30 at the Machine Shed restaurant in Woodbury, which is located in the NE corner of the intersection ofI-94 and Radio Drive. See You There!
Friday June 12 – Sunday June 14, 2009 – VCA MN Vipers Along the North Shore
Join VCA MN for a trip along Superior’s North Shore culminating in Grand Marais. We will be leaving the Twin Cities on Friday afternoon June 12th and spending the night in Two Harbors following a quick stop by Archer Racing to take in a few Comp Coupes and ACR’s. Dinner on Friday evening will be at the Rustic Café in Castle Danger. On Saturday we complete the beautiful cruise along Superior’s shoreline on MN 61 to Grand Marais with a stop at Split Rock Lighthouse along the way; a little culture. Into Grand Marais early Saturday afternoon for a car show on the lake’s shoreline followed by a BBQ. Sunday will have us making the return trip to the cities with a short stop at Lutsen to take a run or two on the Alpine slides followed by lunch in Duluth.
Meet at Famous Dave’s in Forest Lake on Friday June 12th between 1:00 & 1:30. Famous Dave’s is located on the west side of I-35 at the Forest Lake exit next to the Holiday Station Store. Don’t miss this one; Superior’s North Shore is calling. Please contact Mike @ 612-990-6311 with questions.

Join us for our monthly social at Oak City in Bloomington. Vipers will be gathering between 6:00 & 630 for what is always an enjoyable evening filled with great conversation and laughter.

Saturday June 20, 2009 – Clemens’ Gardens
Join us for a delightful cruise to enjoy the beautiful plants and flowers at Clemens’ Gardens in St Cloud, MN. Meet between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m. at the Perkins in Maple Grove. The Maple Grove Perkins is located in the SE corner of the intersection of I-694 and Hemlock Lane. We’ll leave at 10:30 sharp for the cruise to St Cloud and lunch followed by our visit to the Garden.

Saturday June 27 – Sunday June 28, 2009 – Eagle River, WI Cruise
Planned for Sunday, June 28 is a cruise to the Viper Graveyard in Eagle River WI. Since this location is 3 hours east of Mitch’s place in Milltown, WI. 2 separate groups will be making the trek. For those that don’t want to drive all the way up there and back on the same day, we’ll meet Saturday at Famous Dave’s in Forest Lake (west side of the freeway at the Forest Lake exit) between 1:30 and 2:00 PM, arrive in Eagle River about 5:30.
Lodging will be provided by the Best Western Derby Inn

For those driving up on Sunday, leave the cities about 7:00 a.m. to meet up with us at the Best Western around 11:00 am. From there we’ll cruise to Paul Scharf’s place where, rumor has it, Paul will have lunch prepared for us. Then a visit to the Viper graveyard and a scenic tour of the area.
