Viper Days Buttonwillow April 1-2

I'm thinking about going to Buttonwillow if I feel comfortable to drive by then (broke my right leg last month - DOH!).

I was hoping I could use my Marriott Rewards to stay in a Hotel around the area, and it looks like the best option is:

# Distance: 22.8 miles (to Buttonwillow)

Anyone know if this is a scary place to park the Viper (96' RT/10, w/car cover) for a couple of nights???

Alternately I could stay here, but doesn't looks quite as nice:

# Bakersfield , CA 93309
# Distance: 22.9 miles (to Buttonwillow)


Anyone on the west coast going???

OK, now I feel better Hope to see you there, just need to heal this leg up, it's tough to drive in a cast
