Just went to Vegas and stayed at a few places over a one week period.
Excalibur did not look after the Viper and continually put it in the lot despite my complaining to everyone including the hotel manager.
Also every time they fetched it there were two in it.
Venetian on the other hand could not have been better, and would have stayed there longer but they were booked solid, so of to the South Point who also looked after me.
Excalibur is of my list next time.

Why on EARTH would Excaliber be in your list to begin with? That's for families with rugrats. Venetian is good.... MGM has GREAT valet. The Wynn is also nice. Stay away from the ***** hotels and you'll be alright.

I had good treatment with a rental Viper at the Bellagio as well. They don't make you put the top up when you drop it off, unlike some of the others along the Strip.

Plus, the exhaust makes a really cool rumble as they drive it up in the underground garage. You can hear it long before you see it. :D

Why in the world would you let some Valet drive your Viper in the first place? No way in hell would I let one of those rug rats near my car.

bellaggio has a lot closer to the concierge desk for nicer/exotic cars. i watched them park a few there and they didn't abuse them when i was there. it seemed decent.

and they will let ya park your own too.

I was told that if something happened to the car while it was parked the hotel's insurance would cover it if it was valet parked but not if you used the guest self parking.

Rent-a-Vette requires you to use the valet for this reason but I'd probably do the same thing with my own car. I figure they can't abuse it too much in a parking garage and there are security cameras everywhere in those places that monitor how the valets are driving.

The RAV person told me about an incident that had recently happened to one of their Vettes. Apparently one of their customers decided to take the cheap route and save the $2 tip and park it himself. When he went to get in it the next morning someone had poured a can of some type of acid all over the hood.

DITTO!!!!!!! :bonker: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:

DITTO again. There isn't a month that goes by on the VCA website that doesn't have a horror story of a mechanic, valet, or whomever wrecking a Viper. My inspection is up and I will stay at the garage and do all the driving or go somewhere else. :nono:

I had good luck at Treasure Island. A Valet rode with me to Valet parking while I drove the Viper and walked with me to pick it up. I tipped well and it was worth it. You'll have to arrange it with the supervisor. No access to the Valet area by the public.
