JULY 11-13 ~ Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals-Pre-register now for “Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals”. The dates for this event are July 11-13. The Vipers are scheduled to slither in on Saturday, July 12th. Visit the Carlisle Events home page, www.carsatcarlisle.com, to complete the form on-line, or, print it off and mail it in to complete your pre-registration. When pre-registering please be sure to indicate that you are a member of the VIPER CLUB OF AMERICA. The number of pre-registered Vipers determines the number of spaces the Viper Club is allotted on the show field. It also helps us establish a preliminary headcount for the catered luncheon beginning at 11:30 AM. So please, don’t delay, pre-register by June 24th! We welcome members of any Viper Club to join us under the Viper tent in Carlisle on July 12th.

Questions regarding this event may be directed to Ginger ([email protected] or 607-426-0837).

As of 5/22 there were only 12 Vipers pre-registered with Carlisle Events. At that rate we certainly won’t be allotted a very big area on the showfield. So please, don’t delay, pre-register today! Visit the Carlisle Events home page, www.carsatcarlisle.com , to either complete the form on-line, or, print it off and mail it in to complete your pre-registration. When pre-registering please be sure to indicate that you are a member of the VIPER CLUB OF AMERICA. Questions regarding this event may be directed to Ginger ([email protected] or 607-426-0837).

By the way... There is another good reason to preregister. I took my old -64 Galaxie to Ford Nationals last year and the field was "Full". I had to park my car 2 blocks away and walk in. I suppose you dont want this to happen with your Viper.:brick:

So preregister FAST!!! :headbang:
Besides, with proper amount of preregistered Vipers, we should get a good spot, just like last year!!!:2tu:

Since my last post regarding pre-registration (5/29), we have only picked up 6 cars…and of those 6, 2 people each registered 2 cars, so only 4 people have just recently pre-registered. My "Carlisle Events" contact has again reiterated the new club tent policy to me. It states that we must have 25-49 cars pre-registered by June 22 in order to get a 20’x20’ tent. That is not a big enough tent to accommodate the food, tables and chairs, not to mention the people. Last year we had a 20’x30’ tent, plus 2 personal 10’x10’ tents which were used for the purposes of registration and shirt sales. Those that were at the 2007 event know that it was crowded under the tent at lunch time. We must have50 cars pre-registered by June 22 to be awarded a 20’x30’ tent again this year. Ideally, a 20’x40’ tent would be the best. It would certainly help our club volunteers that assist with set-up early Saturday morning if those 2 smaller tents did not have to be set up, not to mention taking them down after spending all day in the hot sun.

In order to be fair to those that have pre-registered, it has been suggested that we use two different colored wrist bands for the luncheon. One color would signify that you pre-registered which would give you preference to go through the lunch line, as well as secure you a seat at a table under the tent. The second color would be used for those that did not pre-register, which means you just might be eating on the grass in the hot sun! We may have to use that idea. :dunno:

We are expecting a record crowd for this event and I feel like I’m beating an old drum, but PLEASE, help us out here folks!!! I know many of you wait to see what the weather is going to be like that day, however, that does not help us out for planning purposes. We need to have an idea of how many to order lunch for as well and the pre-registration numbers help with that too. We have always been lucky and had enough food, but this year could be different.

Visit the Carlisle Events home page, www.carsatcarlisle.com , to either complete the form on-line, or, print it off and mail it in to complete your pre-registration. Please be sure to indicate that you are a member of the VIPER CLUB OF AMERICA. Keep in mind that all registration fees will increase $10 after June 23, 2008.

Do you have the list of attendees from last year? Is there a way of contacting the ones who did not register yet and ask them if they are going? This may help.

You would think that as a Viper owner $35 bucks (rain or shine) would not make that much of an difference.

PREREGISTER NOW...

Hell, I cannot even get a case of exported beer with it, or lousy 10 gallons of gas....

I'll bring my canopy, you guys bake your heads in the sun.

I was yesterday at Ford Nationals at Carlisle, 94 degrees.....
You WISH there was a tent.... and now we may not even get one. Just great! Dont try to shell under my canopy... I wanna see the wristbands!!!:D

Who is preregistered, lets see some names!!!!

"RedEnuf93" Lauri
"PaViper" Carmen (2 cars)

Just knowing they are "planning" to go is not going to help us. They have to pre-register with Carlisle Events so their car can be counted. If someone was registered last year they would have received a brochure with registration information from Carlisle Events several months ago. It's like beating a dead horse!

I didn't see Dave on the list, is he doing OK.

I see Rege has two cars registered....does that mean Donna gave the OK on the SSG:D

Ginger, Woodhouse has an Orange on property, that would give you a third to register:omg:

Dave is doing OK now Carmen. He did have another health issue, but doing better now. They are currently on a cruise. I'm sure he'll get registered as soon as he gets back.

Rege does have 2 Vipers registered, but I don't think one is the green SSG. ???

Thanks on the tip about the orange one at Woodhouse. Denny talked to John Gastman @ Roanoke Motors last week. He has an orange ACR coming in. BUT, I don't think either of those orange Vipers will find a home in MANSFIELD PA. The garage is full with no room to add on! Denny will just have to live with ORANGE FEVER! :omg:

Glad to hear Dave is doing well,

Sorry to hear that Denny won't be getting an Orange one, I guess that means I am stuck with my Red and White:(

There are four more cars from Harrisburg that aren't on the list, but I won't mention any names......of course as often as I see them :drive:, they might as well be on hooks hanging from the ceiling in the garage

True , but this way you know who to target to get registered. Hopefully they will step up.

Count down, we got 10 more days for those to get registered.

Don't forget the rare auction items which will be auctioned off. But you must be there to bid on them.

Oh, give me a second, he still has my front end in his bodyshop... We'll let him finish it first, THEN we'll beat the hell of him.:2tu::D
Just kidding Dan....:D

I dont see Jamie on the list... I'll give him a kick in the **** today.
I'll call Wayne also, he was on our cruise with the -93.

I'm in, and we will be making a big deal of this at the Crab Feast on Sunday, we will hand out the registration forms and try to get them filled out there. I don't know the final reservation numbers but would think upwards of 130 people will be there. Hopefully your sister region can pick up the shortfall here. If we get them in on Monday that will be the 15th so hopefully we will clear the deadline.
Give me a call Denny if there is any particular way you would like me to handle it, like collect them up and fedex to you for follow up? Or send you names so you can verify total with Carlisle?. 410.978.7773

Dan is coming and pre-registered.

Dan is not on the pre-registered list that I got on Monday from Carlisle Events. If he is pre-registered, he just did it yesterday, or, he failed to put VIPER CLUB OF AMERICA on his pre-reg. I know he's not a member of our club, but he still shoud have put it down so we could count his head, car, spot. Could someone send me a PM with Dan's last name so I can add him to our list?

Thanks,
Ginger

Thanks for your help with this Lee.
You can just let the folks mail or fax them in, and hopefully they will do so in a timely fashion. I'll be in touch with you towards the end of this week with an update on the numbers.

Thanks to those that have pre-registered for this event. However, we are still a few short to ensure us of a 20'x30' tent. :( If you haven’t yet pre-registered, please do so ASAP ! The pre-registration deadline is June 22nd.

Visit the Carlisle Events home page, www.carsatcarlisle.com , to either complete the form on-line, or, print it off and fax it in to complete your pre-registration. Please be sure to indicate that you are a member of the VIPER CLUB OF AMERICA. Keep in mind that all registration fees will increase $10 after June 23, 2008.
