Vipers at Willow Springs Raceway

Great weather this past weekend @ Willow, 70's and no wind. 15 cars in the red group, 6 vipers, Bob Blizzards truck, a couple Panoz, Lambo, Boss mustang and a few others. Fun and safe, no cobra's flipping this time. First 12 minutes all vipers, then run down a boss, lambo and a 928.

Was this with open track racing? I Love Willow Springs, but I hate turn 9

No, it was with West Coast Racing, (formerly Pantera club, Jim Saxton) they run a March and October event at Willow annually. Agree about turn 9 but you've got to try and get a good launch for the front straight. ACR aero really helps in 8 and 9.

A few more events here till the end of May, then we shut down till late August.

You've got to give some serious thought to bringing one of your track cars out here in Sept-Oct. Between Willow, CA Speedway, Spring Mountain, Buttonwillow, Chuckwalla there's probably an event every two three weeks. Plus you can go up to the Bay area and go to Laguna Seca, Thunderhill and Infinion.

Come June, we'll be jealous of you guys as these tracks just get too hot out here in the summer! Mike
