Hi guys,

I've been posting here for a few months now. I got my viper in August and immediately started the restoration and modding works!

I've got along way to go with exterior though. Intake, exhaust, suspension, brakes and interior have all been upgraded.

I'm on a roll baby!

Let me know what you guys think!

never seen the windsheild frame painted red before, i dont know if i like that too much but the rest is awesome!

I like the sidepipes painted red i think it gives the car a smoother look. My 94 had the pipes painted red too, my 93 now doesnt I might have to do it.

It looks like you have black interior parts? how did you work that out? did you redo them or get them from a newer viper? (knee bolsters and center console)

I like the red frame and dash!!!

Cool looking Gen 1. Black seats and interior, right?
Now... Loose those 3-spokes, if you can. That will REALLY set off the car!!!

(Can you tell I'm partial for 1993 Gen1's?? :D :D :2tu: )

Looks nice. You're in Bahrain? I have lived there twice since '97 (and Saudi too). Just found out that I'll be going back again this summer for three more years. If you want, send me an email...jim

I second that, it needs new wheels. The three spokes look dated. Oh yeah and change the UPS truck exhaust

Wow - looks very clean! Of course you do know that red 1993 Vipers are the hottest and the fastest! (In my completely and totally unbiased opinion.)

Yah definately get rid of those wheels. I think a set of CCW 505's or the Gen III wheels would look real good. Just my opinion.
Not a big fan of the red dash, but it still looks good, just not for me.

anyone else notice (like i did right away) that the paint doesnt match on the side sills (side exhaust system cover) to the color of the rest of the body? Its more candy apple redish. Was this done on purpose?

Hey guys,

I had the exhaust covers painted recently due to some damage. I didn't notice it myself cause i'm color blind!

Could this be that the color changed due to heat on fresh paint? I dont know!

I had the seats re-tailored and re-coverd in black leather and red stitchings!

I think I like all the red. I disagree to change the wheels. Dated? Yeah, that's the whole idea. The wheels define that particular car.

Keep 'em.

Your driveway is giving me vertigo!

Heh heh, just kidding, its awesome, as is the car. Did you have a plastic dashboard made?

I vote keep the rims, I always liked the tri-spoke. They look kinda "wicked", and define that era of Viper, as someone above said.

The dashboard is OEM, just painted red. The seats are OEM, just re-covered with fresh black leather.

I will post some pictures of my hard top too, I had it made locally at a fibre-glass shop, he did a very good job.

I might ask him to replicate a hood for me, as I dont wanna start making holes and grills in my OEM one.

If this local guy can pull it off ( i've asked him to replicate a dual sheel vented hood, and a set of plax-glass windows to tuck neatly under my hard-top ), I'm gonna ask him to design a complete aero kit for me.

He charged my $450 for the hard top.
