WHAT IS PROTRUDING FROM FRONT GRILL?

I saw today a Viper that had two aluminum rods (cables) protruding from the from the front grill and extending at 90 degrees down to a black front air dam of sorts. Does anybody know what this is and what is for? Thank anyone that help

Yep, sounds like splitter supports. They help to preload the setup so that airflow doesn't make the splitter deflect downward to cut off airflow under the car. Did they look something like this?

Yes, exactly. Do the ACR cars come with this ?

I believe only the gen 5 ACRs have this stock. The gen 4 cars have the splitter, but I don't believe they have the supports. You can install them aftermarket though. I think I've seen some earlier cars that had them, though not original.
