Try Chrysler UK headquarters, 01304 228877
if VW numbers dont tie up. I'd drop the word 'chrome'
perhaps this is confusing them

Think you will find the wheels are the same, on 96/97/98 99 cars are forged and polished not chromed, 18" is another difference

Polished and colored 96 wheels are cast Al. Polished 97 wheels are forged, painted 97 wheels are cast. P/N for 96 and 97 polished wheels are the same but the wheels are different must specify the year as well. That is what I was told when I ordered a spare set in 98. They are easy to tell apart, the cast wheels are welded between the drum and the spoke section. You want the forged wheel.

If they will cover the corrosion under warranty, you will likely get '97 wheels *IF* they are still in stock. When the spokes cracked on my '96, I was expecting to get '97 forged. Nope.

Dean, what possibly could've caused those wheels to crack? You weren't doing anything excluded under your warranty were you?
