Which color are they going to produce first?

As of last Tuesday, Dodge did not know which color would be produced first. You would think red, but you never know?

When I was at CAAP last year, they had all colors being produced. So why would they start with any particular color?

The preliminary launch date is no secret, in August.

Silver had some serious bugs, which is why it was so rare.

Black, ditto.....remember all the black launch probs of 93-94?


If past is prologue, they will likley begin with RED. The past few years, they have begun with Only RED. 40 of em or so. These cars will be in dealerships and events first, and Dodge LIVES and LOVES RED.

Red it will be.......

Is this true. Any Black GenII owners that wish to comment on their satisfaction (or lack there of) with the quality of the black paint. Did I order the wrong color because DC cannot really pull off a black?

I think CAAP had problems when they FIRST tried to produce the various colors... but that was back then, and this is now. I was going to get silver to have a more unique color, but this year won't be like '98... they will make as many as necessary in each color, and I am positive it will be done right.
