Although it's not from Florida, I think this is a pretty accurate shot of the sapphire blue - not too black and not '96/'97 blue:
Of course, I am somewhat partial on this one because I shot it myself. The car was one of the 2001's Dodge brought to VOI 6 last year and was the first anybody had seen of the new colors. I absolutely LOVE this color and would almost trade my black/silver in on one. With stripes, of course. Gorgeous!

PS. The A/C seems to be pretty good in these cars. I have a problem with my evaporator right now, but generally it gets pretty chilly even in 95+ degrees and high humidity. In a black car to boot. I think you are in good shape!
