why does this board get so slow at night?

how come this board goes to crawl speeds at night? sometimes I get off work late at night 3 in the morning and obviously must feed the Viper talk crave so I log on but its extremely slow while every other site is fast..what gives

I think he means the speed of the site not people talking.
