Our next event will take place in just over a couple of weeks and will be a quite interesting one.
Did you know that South Florida is home to a winery? You're probably thinking grapes. And you're kind of close. Similarities are because they're all in the family of fruit. Now imagine a wine made from Mango, Lychee, Passion, Guava, and Star Fruit?
Schnebly Redland's Winery ( SchneblyWinery.com - Home ) is located in Homestead and our next event will be to meet 2pm at Members Blair and Monica Retchin's home in South Miami. Then all then drive down to this unique winery and do a tour and tasting. Afterwards, we then drive down to The Fish House (mm 102) in Key Largo and have an early dinner.
Also, Members Don and Eunice Firth have invited all those attending the event that day to their home in Key Largo at MM 100. We can go either before or after dinner. Bring your bathing suits and towels!
Please RSVP if you can attend. At that time, I will provide the address of Blair and Monica's home.
Date of Event: 2pm Saturday August 23, 2008 Meet at Blair and Monica's.
