The biggest car show in the area (as many as 800 cars have participated in the past) takes place this Sunday May 20th. We have always had good participation in the past and hope to repeat that again this year. We will meet as usual at the Krispy Kreme in Issaqua at 7:15 AM and leave for the show by 7:30. We will not be able to hold a parking space for you if you arrive late so be on time so that we can have a great presence at this popular event. Please contact me if you plan to attend so I know how many to expect.

    Update.
The weather report for tomorrow indicates a strong likelihood of rain and thunder showers. I am planning to leave home for the Krispy Kreme at 6:45 AM. However, IF IT IS RAINING I WON'T BE GOING! I spoke with Bill S. last night and he is planning to go rain or shine. For those of you who responded to me, it's up to you. I may drive over later in the day to check out the show if the weather clears.

I don't mind cleaning my car, but to do it so that I can drive in the rain doesn't make sense to me.

The show was great, lots of great cars and some not so great. Only saw Bob K but what the heck there were three other non members with Vipers and one 1935 Ram with a Viper engine and it was grand. The pick up took Best in Show, first in its class and best engine application. I asked Ken if he wanted to sell the truck but he comments, "Hell I havn't finished it yet and I only have 250K into it." :omg:

That was the truck I told you about at the roadster show, the one that got pulled early for a gas leak.
