Greetings: the glass in my drivers door travels up and down as it should with the exception on the down stroke it appears to travel a bit to far. At the last 1/4" of travel there is a binding noise, when you attempt to raise the glass there is first a "thud" noise and then the glass travels to its natural up closed position. Is there a procedure to limit the travel down to avoid that current binding zone? Door panel is still removed for trouble shooting. Is this the function of a faulty regulator? thanks

Run the relearn procedure.

Look at the plastic pieces on the regulator track for damage.
