Does anyone know if the compression or rebound dampening on the srt shocks is adjustable ? I heard that the damping on the gen 2 cars can be adjusted by removing the spring and pushing the shock in and turning it in or out to adjust it. Is this true for the srt?

The SRT's use Aluminum bodied Koni coil-overs, rebound adjustable....and also appear to be easily rebuildable.

From what I can see, they are adjusted the same way the gen-2's are. take the shock off, move to its full travel, spin the shaft against the body.

If memmory serves me, it was the ACR shocks that this could be done. It seems like I heard this come up some time ago. Do a search on shocks and you may come up with it.

The best alternative is to go with a set of fully adj. Aldan's. I will say this much, I have a set of SRT coilovers in front of me and there is no indication of them being adjustable in any way. If you get the Aldan's they can also be adjusted for height.
