    Stock fuel pump

    I disagree with the Walbro not being enough pump.....have seen it support well over 700 to the tire on a turbo application, and over 800 on a 150 shot head and cam car. Not to say that it is the last word or that there aren't other options...but it is very effective for a stock replacement piece.

    Head and cam numbers with exhaust components can easily hit the mid 500s.... I don't see a low 500 number being that impressive really.

    It was my understanding that the car which ran the 10.44 today was much more than "mildly" tuned. JPH said it is a 522 stroker with hand ported heads...it did run that time through the cats though. I believe the power numbers mentioned were in the 580 range. Just goes to show that the SRT...

    Good number....it seems that the big nitrous cars are more limited by the suspension at this point. Look forward to seeing everyone at the show. Hopefully there will be some competition in the all-motor class.

    Greg...I think what is missing in the discussion concerning stick V. auto concerns the new generation of autos that are PCM controlled. A F.A.S.T. controlled 4L60 or a prepped Lentech AOD can transfer as much power, as efficiently as a multi-disc clutch setup can..and that is nowhere more...
