Transmission whine with 1000 HP
After a few runs down the track, I noticed that the tranny has developed a high pitched whine. This is most evident when I let off the gas and coast in 3rd gear, but it happens in all gears. Have I trashed my tranny?? :(- 96 GTS

Almost did something CRAZY
I was following a piece of farm machinery on a 2 lane county road. It was one of those rigs with HUGE tall tires. SVS Catback
Since I now have a B&B catback, the SVS catback is for sale. It's a 3" stainless system with twin, down-turned ends that exit at the rear. Great shape with no problems at all. $500 takes it. :cool:- 96 GTS

TOP SPEED RUN - balls to the wall
I need some feedback from you top speed freaks. If I wanted to make an all out top speed run in my car, what special preparations need to be done to the car. Correction factors for drag racing
Does anybody know how to apply correction factors to compensate for temperature and altitude during drag racing? Obviously, your times will vary depending on atmospheric conditions, and it would be nice to know how to objectively compare a time of 10.6 at 70 degrees versus 11.2 at 85 degrees...- 96 GTS

Holy StopTech Batman!
Well, I just completed the frame recall on my 96 GTS, a 4 wheel StopTech system to go with my 2001 chrome wheels/tires, went back to the 3.07 gear, and Uni-trax lightweight half shafts good for 1000 HP at the rear wheels.
