    Stolen Car Cover

I have a lock cable for it, I just never use it as it is a pain to slide the cable under the car and make it to the other side. I was in a public lot, so I thought I'd be OK.

Want to start RICHMOND VIRGINIA section of the VCA...possible?

I should also have said it is not for lack of events the VA/MD region puts on. They do put on a lot of them and I do get the notices. The timing is always bad for me. The crabfest is coming up. I have heard that is always a fun event.

Want to start RICHMOND VIRGINIA section of the VCA...possible?

I have the same problem with attendance. Living in Richmond and my schedule between racing F-5's in the SCCA and work, it makes it difficult to attend a lot, if any, of the events that are 2-3 hours away when I might have only 2-3 hours anyway. I'm always up for a beer on the deck at Legends...

    Oil Change Gone Bad... (pic)

This happened to me a few years ago as well. The gasket from the filter I removed stuck to the car. I tightened it more than usual as it "felt funny". I lost 3 quarts.

    Garage Floor Coating

Here's the flooring product I spoke of. You need to be careful about the slip resistance. The surfaces can be made very rough and it makes it difficult to mop or squeege. Make sure you know what finish surface you want before ordering. Anti-Slip Coating for Concrete Floors (Noted on Drawings...

Advice On "BATTERY TENDER' Unit For Winter

Re: Advice On \"BATTERY TENDER\' Unit For Winter I've had one on my car for 3 1/2 years. I put the connector next to the battery post so I don't have to open the hood and plug it in after every ride. It works great. I don't use the factory alarm system and the new alarm will drain the battery...

Dan, Are you working with them also? We are doing the masterplan for the track. I've got the layout at my office if you want to see it. We'll have the graphic boards for the fair you are talking about. Track layout was by Alan Wilson of CO. We've suggested a few changes to them go make it...

    Factory stereo wiring harness question...

Try Crutchfield.com or Circuit City. They probably have the harness you need. It's a lot simpler than cutting wires.

Double Bubble Hardtop w/Integrated Roof Duct

One of those silly ratcheting wrenches makes taking the bolts off the sports bar faster. I think with a normal wrench you get aobut a 1/4 turn.

If you win a Viper, how do the taxes work?

I'd rather get socked with income taxes than pay Canada's value added tax all my life on everything I buy. (VAT) I think the phase out for deductions starts around $100-125K. It's a screamin' reamer tax that works in reverse! The more you make, the less the guv'mint thinks you should be able...

    need 5pt harness

The SCCA allows harnesses to be five years old before requiring replacement. At least one of the belts has to have a manufacturer's label/date on it. The nice thing is that most of the manufacturers will re-web it for you if it is expired. The cams and buckles do not wear out. I sent my 5...

I don't think WD 40 is a lubricant. It says it stops squeaks and displaces moisture, but I don't see where it says its a lubricant.
