Tar and bugs on my yellow car
I was wondering about the yellow and bugs... wasn't sure until one day I waxed both a blue Jeep and my yellow RT at the same time. Not a single bug could car about the jeep but I had at least a dozen variations of insect checking out the yellow. My wife thinks it's a riot that the bugs enjoy...- MightyP

How did you afford to buy a Viper?
Bruce, I posted my story a bit earlier in the thread, no college for me. At about 15 I got bored and started working. Got into tech at 18 and clawed my way up from tech support to CTO for a $25 million a year software company :) No degree but plenty of hard work. Greg 02 Yellow RT/10- MightyP

Anyone having problems with sagging doors?
I've had both hinges on my car replaced in the past year that I've had the car. Since this thread is popular I was curious where the stats actually stood at this point. Oil Change Gone Bad... (pic)
Be careful putting an oil filter on with that much pressure. The gasket/o-ring will swell with oil and heat making it nearly impossible to get off when you get to your next oil change. Help! Oil Drops Under New 2002 Viper with 200 miles on it
Make sure it's motor oil and not power steering fluid... I've read a few posts about people with either a problem with a clamp on the power steering line or the cap to the power steering being loose/off.- MightyP

Engine Fire Alert - Thankfully Little Damage
I rented a Viper, 2001 GTS with ~1500 miles, and after about a hour of driving it I noticed an odd smell.... Don't have my own Viper but I rented a 2001 GTS that had ~800 miles on it when I started. I drove it about 20 miles (not exactly obeying the posted limits) and then opened the hood to show a few friends. That's when my wife asked why the engine was smoking...
