carbon fibre bonnet security stays

Hello from New Zealand Guys and Gals,

Need some help with where to position security stays on an Anderson Composites bonnet Im about to fit to my Gen 3? Im a bit lost as to where to drill through both the bonnet and around the engine bay, for the best position.

Any photos showing where yours are positioned would be very welcome folks.

Pictures of what you mean will help. I'm guess you are asking about the hood latching mechanism ir hood latch?

Hood (bonnett) pins? You have to find a relatively level, flat area on the inner fender well. You will need access to the bottom to spin the locknuts for height adjustment. You'll also need to look for a good area on the hood to drill thru the support structure. A dab of grease on top the pins will mark the drill locations under the hood. Finally, let the hood skin rest on the pins and feel for the high spots.
