Thanks. Works like a champ now.
The thought of leaving my beloved beast parked without the e-brake on wasn't a pleasant one.
I had a truck roll down a small incline once, while in gear, into a tree. Spun the entire power train in reverse. Crazy stuff.
My e-brake lever goes up and down but no resistance (brake not engaging). This has happened on occation before but now it's all the time. Any ideas what my problem might be? :(
Thanks for the help.
I need a driver's side door "stanchion close out". If you open the door and look at it from the rear it's the black plastic part that the striker passes through. There are five screw holes in it. The part number is MS73RX8.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Drive on!
Does anyone have experience with this dealership?
All I want to have done is an oil change. Normally I take my car to Dick Scott Dodge for service but it's a 60 mile drive. I'd like to have an alternative closer to home.
Thanks in advance for usual excellent advise.
Had the same problem with my '94. Switched to EBC Green's and the problem went away. Green's are okay if you don't race at all. They have slightly less stoping power than the factory pads. Be sure to turn or scuff the rotors before installing the new pads.
As an added bonus, brake dust is...
US Vipers don't have DRL's. To the best of my knowledge they have never been available as standard equipment or as an option.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
And I thought he just didn't like me.
Same scenario. Rude and uneasy to talk to on the phone. Parts did NOT arrive as described but he did give me a full refund. I will use Jon only as a last resort.
This is all too bad because I think Jon is extremely knowledgeable about our cars and...

I'm been to the show before and it basically runs all day. Lot's of great cars.
Send me a PM if you're going to be there.

Anyone going to the Shelby Township Lions Annual Charity Car Show? The show is October 2nd at 21 Mile Road and the M53 (Van Dyke freeway).
There are usually between 600 and 700 cars. SIXTYTWO classes will be judged!
Thanks for the link carguy07. Changed both bulbs today. The person who wrote the Service Manual procedure should be flogged. "Remove the fascia". That's just dumb!
Sorry Gent's, can't be done. :( GEN I and GEN II fog lamps must be different. My fog lamp must be removed from the fascia and disassembled to replace the bulb. It's a european design manufactured by Bosch. The bulb is an "H3".
Any additional advise?
The Service Manual says to "Remove front fascia as necessary to gain access to fog lamp assembly." You've got to be kidding me!!!
Now, can someone please tell me how to change a burned out fog lamp bulb without diassembling the front end of my car?
Thanks as ususal.
Had my new Pilot Sports mounted today by Sitish and Billy at Motorwerks. Great people and great work! My pristine GEN 1 wheels are still just that.
The equipment they use is second to none. It's the same used by Ford to mount and balance tires for the GT and Dodge uses for the Viper...
TampaViper, I just had the head gaskets replaced on my '94 with only 9,300 miles.
Gasket Kit: $768
Labor: $850
TOTAL: $1618
The gaskets were just starting to show signs of seepage between cylinders 3&5 and 7&9.
The best explanation I've heard for the gasket issue is that the...
