My wife and I are having our first child in August.
Need to find a home for this baby:
See the car!
See the pictures!
The car was built by Larry Macedo.
Road Atlanta and Scott\'s Hood
I took my '96 'Macedo' Viper on the track Sunday and MAN is it awesome! Still having lots of trouble with my GTS-R clutch pedal assembly, but think I have finally 'tuned' it so it's working.
The most remarkable thing I noticed on the track is most likely...
It\'s Done!
Larry Macedo did an AWESOME job!
Check it out!
The pictures on the site are old. I should have new ones once the weather clears up here in Atlanta!
Now that my car is almost complete (it's been at Macedo's for what seems to be an eternity) I have a bunch of parts for sale. Some are performance, some are bone stock. e-Mail me with an offer, if it's reasonable it's yours. You pay for shipping via whatever method you wish. I can accept checks...
Anybody know if the Panoz Track Days at Road Atlanta is going on this weekend? I don't want to drive all the way out there and find out it's not going on :)
Hello,
I was told that there is a Track Days event at Road Atlanta today (saturday) and tomorrow (sunday). Is this correct? I looked on their Web site and did not see this weekend scheduled. Someone please let me know before I drive my ass out there tomorrow and find that nobody is there!
Thx!

I am at the point where I'm ready to start investigating the performance transmissions out there.
Some questions:
1) Rebuilt vs. New: What parts do remanufacturers leverage to make the rebuild better than the original
2) Aftermarket transmissions
3) Customized stock transmissions: Beyond...
Can someone please explain where the water shooting out of my exhaust is coming from? I thought it was condensation in my cats, but this is not possible as I took the cats off, blew compressed air in them and nothing came out. The water is clear (no rust, etc) and carries with it the black dust...
I was searching the Web for interesting Viper mods and came across two Kenne Bell products:
Boost a Pump
and
Boost a Spark
I did a search throughout the Viper Club Boards and found nothing. I was hoping to get feedback from everyone on these two products as on first inspection they seem...
I have decided that I am going to modify my '96 GTS to have side exhausts instead of rear exhaust. Anyone have a kit for this?
As for the side cowls I'm just going to cut a hole for the exhaust pipe and finish the look with a riveted piece of aluminum :)
Any and all direction/help is...
After many weekends I have completed my dream car garage!
The lifts were delivered by 18-wheeler and I needed to rent a forklift and flatbed tow truck to get the [******] things into my garage. I put the lifts together myself with help from two of my friends (I owe them BIG). The doors had to...
Last weekend was one AWESOME time at Road Atlanta! We had an awesome showing of Vipers and it was great to see everyone there!
Unfortunately, two of us lost our power steering pump :-(
I have already ordered Roe's PS radiator, but Sean also mentioned a smaller crankshaft pulley would provide...
First, a discussion of the temp gauge.
I will refer to the ticks as follows:
tick a = dark tick at 100
tick b = light tick after 100
tick c = second tick after 100
tick d = first dark tick of the triple tick above 190
tick e = second dark tick of the triple tick above 190
tick f = third dark...

It can reach speeds of 400mph!
Sean Roe recommended Autolite 3923 plugs for my Viper (mods described in my signature but can also be viewed at http://eric.schorvitz.com/cars/viper_blue.php ). Can anyone help me understand why I was recommended this plug and if anyone is using these plugs could you give me your opinion of...
Awesome story!
I read a classified ad of a guy selling a car with a set of Sparco 2000s installed. I asked if he would swap seats with me since it would be easier to sell a car with stock seats. He agreed. Well, I went to pick up the seats. They were leather. Next, they had the Sparco sliders...
I finally got my car dyno'd. Not bad for a naturally aspirated car with no crazy mods!
Max Rear Wheel Horsepower: 435
Max Rear Wheel Torque: 474
You can see the details of my car at: My Web site
How do you tighten (or replace) the accelerator pedal return springs? I'm talking about the "tension" springs that are right next to each of the throttle bodies. My accelerator pedal feels like mushy bread. The springs feel like they have no tension in them.

I heard through the grapevine that the guy who makes Hennessey's air boxes sells them directly out of Canada. Does anyone know how to get in touch with him. I need one for my new car :-)
Hello, I'm new to the ViperClub.org boards and was hoping someone could suggest a product to me. I want to know what pedals to put on the Viper to make it possible to heel-toe the brake and gas pedals without having to "twist" my foot so that my toes are pointing to the driver's door and my knee...
