    Vinyl Stripes...Wax...Longevity...Color Matching

    no worries, just don’t go overboard with the wax / buffer.. use a detail spray ( I use PoorBoys) to clean them up.. have had mine for 7+ years and they still look great.

    Enjoy it.. good roads, great people and good lookin girls. Traffic sucks in Stuttgart during the week, same as boundary areas like Boeblingen (high tech manufacturing and Mercedes HQ).. a trip to Tubingen from Stuttgart on the weekend is a great ride for your first jaunt into the forest roads...

    Side sill heat... how much is to much???

    Agree with the toooo hot posts.. drop the sill and take a look, compare the left and right side for clearing.. or take it back to the joint that did the work for a visual.. the sills will discolor quickly and are expensive to replace.. been there, its a pita.

    Having my facia repainted which will also require some new vinyl stripes - can anyone recommend a shop in OC/LA where they have had vinyl work done?.. I bought my 98 with the stripes in place and my paint shop is clueless (long story).. any help would be appreciated..

    Sad news - snake burned!

    My passenger side cat shut down during a 30K service at the local Dodge dealer last week (I didn't want to hassle with the clutch bleed).. Dodge is replacing both cats and painting the right sill - there was smoke in the cabin and discoloration of the sill, did not look like the sill malformed...

    No bra, the vinyl takes a beating and keeps on sticking without nicking.. the vinyl has handled normal road wear just fine..

    How long until you got your 1st ticket in your Viper?

    6 weeks.. went for a quick spin after a Saturday morning wash to blow the water out of the crevices.. both motorcycle cops I met that morning (1 stop) did not have enough coffee to start the day.. have since invested in an air compressor to move the water post wash.
