Well, my knowledge of parts for the viper is pretty limited (as of now) so i was just going by what i know about the general cat aftermarket. (universal cats, mostly). I just figured id try and help a little, since he brought up random tech.

Sounds like it may be fuel related.. I dont know much about the viper in particular, but it seems to be either fuel or spark. Perhaps you need to clean the injectors? The battery wont matter since your alternator runs the car while the engine is running. Good luck on this.. im sure someone on...
Thanks guys! Yeah i hope to learn all i can about the viper (its my nature), before i get one. Ive always been into anything with a motor and i love to learn a great deal about that motorcycle, or car before I dive in. This is probably the best place to do so.
