Not on topic....but please make an exception for all to read....

First, that'll never happen. The American public as a whole, as do I, support President Bush. The DNC is never on one side. Look where the popular opinion is and that's where they'll be. Go G.W!!!

    A Vette or a Viper?

I think it looks strikingly similar to the Viper as well, but then again, it supposedly takes its roots from all generations of Vettes, C3 especially in the front fenders. Overall, it looks quite nice.

    Question about Viper pricing

I agree that they are mostly incorrect on sports cars, but it also seems that when banks decide on loan values, they base their maximum amounts on book values shown by KBB or NADA. I'm just looking around and would like to get a Viper in the future, but I am trying to keep it reasonable. I am...

    Question about Viper pricing

Hey guys, I have been searching the internet quite a bit looking at used Vipers. I have seen both 96 RT/10's and GTS' with reasonable mileage selling for $40,000+. When I looked at Kelly's Blue Book, loan value for these cars (private party) seems to only be around $28,000 ($30k with 10,000...

    Ram SRT-10 Allocation SUCKS!

I see!!! I will admit they are some cool looking trucks, I just don't think I would ever part with that much for a truck. I myself am a performance car nut, and at 23 I own my own C5. I have always loved Corvettes, as I grew up around them. They may not be as fast as a Viper, but I find them...

    Ram SRT-10 Allocation SUCKS!

Sam, How is the Corvette cheaper? I can see that statement being true as of now, because GM is trying to push all remaining C5's out with huge discounts and rebates, but in general, the Corvette is slightly more expensive. Besides, why would one want to pay that much for a truck anyways...

    I Honestly Can't Wait

I Honestly Can\'t Wait I was just looking at used RT/10's and the prices on mid 90's are very attractive. In my opinion, DC did an awesome job with Gen I and Gen II Vipers. Hopefully in a few years, I will be sporting one of these beauties. :headbang:

Considering Viper GTS or Modified Z06 Vette

I, as a Vette owner, say go for the Viper if you can afford it. The Gen I and Gen II Vipers look awesome. To me, a Vette looks awesome too. While there are 35,000 Vettes made each year, that's still a minute number in the total spectrum of things. I, being in Dallas, see quite a few Vettes...

    Hello Everyone!!!

Thanks for all of the greetings. I don't mind if there is GM bashing as I am not brand loyal. I like just about anything with a V8 or bigger. The only cars that piss me off are the little rice rockets with fart pipes. I do plan to keep my C5 though as I want to start a collection of...

    Hello Everyone!!!

I'm not sure if this is the place to do this, but I wanted to say hello to everyone in the forum. I am 23 and a domestic car enthusiast. I currently drive a C5 Corvette, and plan to keep it, as well as one day get my hands on a used GTS. I know everyone here isn't a Vette fan, and that is ok...
