    2010 ACR Coolant Change

I'm doing a coolant change on my 2010 ACR. The front belly pan needs to be dropped. Have any of you 2010 ACR guys removed the front belly pan? I have removed the 4 belly pan to frame bolts, and the 4 belly to wheel housing screws. It looks like I need to remove the 4 front-splitter...

" The new Viper is exotic and curvy, but the glory days are gone at least by sales"

Re: " The new Viper is exotic and curvy, but the glory days are gone at least by sale You got that right! Horsepower has always sold. I think SRT missed an opportunity when they came out with 640 HP. If it was 700 horsepower it would stand out form the crowd and sales would likely be...

Draining gas tank on '98 RT/10

Thank-you very much for your help! Larry The fuel pump assembly is a large round piece of plastic that unscrews. Once you pop that rivnut cover off it will be self explanatory. No need to unplug everything from the assembly or remove it, unscrew it, lift slightly and put a hose...

Draining gas tank on '98 RT/10

Thanks for the reply. It looks like there are rivets that need to be removed on the fuel tank access panel in the trunk. How are these removed and are new rivets difficult to install? Are any special tools needed to remove the fuel pump; so that a siphon line can be inserted?

Draining gas tank on '98 RT/10

I am about to revive a 1998 RT/10 that has been sitting idle for several years. Would like to drain the old gas and put in new gas before starting the engine. Any ideas on how best to drain the gas tank?

Gen II or Gen IV? Decision made

I would like the do that side by side too!! I'll keep in touch as I hope to do an east coast trip next summer.:drive: I agree about the 'right breakup of lines and space'. I was debating between all black and black/silver or black/white. I'm sure the stripes would look good, but the all black...

Gen II or Gen IV? Decision made

Will definitely keep the RT/10. I installed a roe supercharger in it as a winter project several years ago . SHE IS A KEEPER. The addition of the lift about 10 years ago was maybe the best $2500 purchase I have made. The tire rack was also a very useful addition. Next summer's project is the...

Gen II or Gen IV? Decision made

I've been going back and forth for the past year trying to decide between purchasing a black Gen II coupe or a black Gen IV coupe. I have had a red 1998 RT/10 for the past 12 years and have known for a while that I would also add a coupe. I still remember the feeling from seeing my first Gen II...

Hope Dodge releases some awesome GEN V Commercials

Wish that were still the case. The dismal sales numbers of the past two years say otherwise (and that's with the early 2009 employee pricing and the late 2009 financing incentives). Look at BJ Motors, $10,000 off new 2009 ACR's and they have a bunch for sale. Larry

    ACR paint issue

Vipers are not selling well. FiChrysler says it needs sales to improve. Issues of quality should matter to a company that wants to expand sales. There will always be a core of people that that will overlook quality, but I don't think that its possible to expand the sales base of a $100,000 car...

Voodoo Viper...To buy or not to buy?

I've had my '98 RT/10 for 12 years and my '05 FGT for four years. Since you are keeping your vert, its very nice to have cars that provide two very different driving experiences. Get the FGT, the cars compliment each other well and the FGT is quite a special critter.:2tu: Larry
