The CAAP tours for Friday have been cancelled. People placed in 'Group A' were originally supposed to tour CAAP on Friday, but now they are trying to get everyone into CAAP on Thursday (or earlier), because the plant will be closed on Friday.
That means if you're not checked-in and ready to...
I read that CAAP is now closed ...until 7/21? If that is the typical break for model year change-over, then the Viper Blue cars will not all be built until they start up again for the 2009s.
Regardless of the VIN assigned, in my book, that makes the Viper Blue cars 2008.5 or 2009s. That's my...
Ok, give this a bit of a squint, and see what you think of this possible wheel look.
It's a chrome center, with a brushed & clearcoat lip (looks 'machined'). The hues from the lighting weren't exactly a match when I put the center with the lip, but I think it's a decent chop to get an idea...
Seems as good a place as any to collect all the pics to come on Viper Blue :
similar color?:
My last photchop effort:
The brochure (the Dodge marketing folks added some aqua graphic effects):
Anyone have pics of a Viper with Forgeline's version of their Black Chrome wheel color option? I can't tell from their website if their Black Chrome wheels have kind of a bluish tint?

Question:
If you were going to keep a new '08 in a colder climate (similar to Denver), would you consider using the '03-'06 run-craps? The '08 tires clearly state that they should not be driven in near-freezing road temps, which might rule out 5-6 months of the year, especially in the...
I saw question here a while back about insurance, and I was wondering what the collective wisdom might be about Viper friendly insurance companies? ... :eater:
A federal bankruptcy court judge on Tuesday denied Chrysler LLC's request to immediately retrieve equipment from supplier Plastech Engineered Products Inc., saying such a move could harm Plastech's efforts to reorganize under bankruptcy protection.
Dealer called yesterday and told me that my order for Bright Blue had just gone to "BX" status (available for scheduling) :headbang:
... I don't know if that means that production begins in the next two weeks or next two months, but the color does seem to be going forward as an '08 (not held...
Maybe old news (and I can't confirm), but my dealer told me they are building Black cars right now ...
Regardless, to all of you lucky new '08 owners out there:
GET OFF YOUR BUTTS AND POST SOME MORE PICS!
:D
Are any of these first '08s coming with the Blue/Black or Slate/Black interiors? Can we confirm (from an actual '08) that the Blue interiors look like earlier years? Still trying to get as much info to change my order, if necessary ...
... and yes, you'll all have to keep looking at this...
The 2008 SRT-10 Viper is faster than the 2008 Z06. That's an established fact -- across the automotive media. Maybe not by much, but it is faster. And importantly, these are the cars that most of us will ever drive on the street, and the Viper wins. :2tu:
The Chevy folks where counting on...
A while back it seemed like an SRT-10 ACR was already planned for 2009. I would assume the Mopar race parts for 675HP, along with the Aero stuff and some new wheels ...
(I would be most interested in any new ACR wheels for my '08 that I have on-order)
