I absolutely love them. I track my car 7-10 times a year and I drive it on the street. incredible grip both on and off the track. if you drive track + street, life expectancy of the tires is about 5000 miles. they last me about 1.5 - 2 years, then I need new ones. the only tire with more grip is...
3/4 inch extender to the gas pedal which raises it enough to heel/toe to work. in the ACR you're actually doing a toe/side foot manuever. when stepping on the brake, I rock my foot to the side which blips the throttle just the way I like it. actual "heel" maneuver never worked well for me.
i agree with evomind,
best thing you can do is replace the head unit. get one with a direct ipod plug in.
I also replaced the 6 inch subwoofer between the seats with a 6 " JL Audio sub. system sounds perfect.
the only minor issue is that when the stereo is really loud, the sub will cause a...
yeah. have used them for the front brakes on my 09 ACR. better than stock and totally fine for the street. NO squeal on the street.
much better than stock for the track. as an intermediate to advanced driver, the pads hold up fine at the track. no brake fade yet.
I currently have the mopar PCM in my 09 ACR. my understanding is that they uniformly fail inspection/emissions due to rear O2 sensors not being recognized. is anyone aware of a rear 02 sensor simulator that would allow inspection/emissions to pass?
I plan on having my car dynoed / tuned this...
:2tu:sounds like you had a great time and experience. many track drivers underestimate "driving experience ' or the "ability to drive" and get fixated on mods and more horsepower. your driving skill is obviously better than that of the SRT driver. why else would a car with 200 HP less be faster...

the power steering reservior was low on my 02 RT also. when I put the car on a lift, I found fluid leaking from the steering rack (seals). I put lucas oil power steering additive into the reservior. it is supposed to swell up the seals and stop the leak. so far so good. If your fluid is really...
I have an 02 RT. years ago, I was at the same point you were. the wheels out of the factory are polished aluminum. they eventually fade, i.e. no luster. I sent all of my wheels years ago to get triple dipped in chrome at a place in california www.calchrome.com. the chrome finish and luster was...
I just finished out the day at Watkins Glen. I registered in the advanced run group with my 09 ACR. Pouring rain. I took one lap around the track gooing about 50 MPH, getting basically run over by everyone. I pulled off thinking I have no business being out here. Well, the track dried out...
in the northeast, SA 2000 will no longer be accepted for HPDE events for PDA/NASA or SCDA. for Trackmasters, probably still OK. you will need SA 2005 or better. most car clubs will let you rent a community helmet if needed :crazy2:
